Project Pre-Development Services:
Stirling works with owners & investors very early in the development of projects. The Stirling team of architects, engineers, estimators, and construction managers meet with clients to discuss their project ideas. Stirling will then develop a conceptual design and a preliminary budget and schedule. The project pre-development consists of:
|
Elevation Drawings |
| Site Layout Plan |
| Preliminary Budget |
Pre-Construction Services:
Proper design and planning are crucial to the overall project schedule and budget. Stirling's pre-construction services are designed to provide the necessary planning, cost and schedule development. When pre-construction services are utilized effectively, they can result in a reduction of changes during the construction phase and more importantly, keep a project on schedule and budget.
General Contracting:
General contracting services are used in the traditional delivery method of design/bid/build. General contracting has been the most popular form of delivering construction services to the marketplace over the years and Stirling uses several contracting methods when providing construction services and is based on the individual requirements of the client.

Construction Management:
The complexities of today's construction systems and the difficulty in managing a large number of highly skilled subcontractors, has led to the increasing popularity of the construction management delivery method. This method allows the owner and architect-engineer to have available to them the services of a general contractor during planning and design as well as the construction phase. Stirling, together with the owner and architect -engineer work as a team throughout the project, from concept to closeout. Stirling performs under a professional services contract with the owner as either the owner's representative, referred to as agency construction management, or as a construction manager at risk. Stirling will perform in either capacity, whichever is desired by the client.
Green Building:
Stirling has mandated that the protection of the environment is an important element and as such, we are committed to segregate construction waste for recycling when applicable on project job sites. This material is sent to recycling facilities or used in recycling programs and is diverted from landfills. Our Corporate office has instituted an in-house recycling program, including collecting paper products, metal cans and containers, empty ink cartridges as well as purchasing recycled office supplies. Energy management has always been a focus for Stirling and reducing energy costs has been a long term stewardship.
